I've read a lot of the ov tune threads here, so please don't give me the gears for posting something I haven't found. I've got a 2019 sport dc. I regularly tow a couple of jetskis, couple of four-wheelers and a 6x14 enclosed tandem work trailer (with brakes). The toys regularly go for a 3 hour trip to the cottage. I'm not going to compare towing with the Taco to towing with my previous 07 5.7l Tundra. I usually just put it in 4 with the etc on and go. I'm just wondering who out there tows regularly has done the ov tune and if they noticed a desirable difference? Keep in mind I'm Canadian, so that tune would probably set me back over a grand.

They are coming out with a way to pick different tunes on the fly. One is for towing!

So, it would have an onboard module?

No module on board. Just tune and go. Single tune with 4 maps. Normal Drive. Performance Drive. Gear Lock. Towing. It's unclear yet whether Towing will include Gear lock or not. Map switching will be the 4 permutations of Drive/Sequential and ECT On/Off.
