Ok so soon enough ill be getting some MOTO METAL 951s wrapped in duratracs. my truck sits stock (dont pay attention to the sig) and i was wondering if i get 17" rims, what the max tire size without rubbing, also this is a dummy question, but does getting smaller rims means i can fit bigger tires? im running 31.9x11x20s atm (metric is like 275/55/20 i believe)

    thanks in advance :broccoli:

For 17" rim, I believe 265/70/17 would be the largest tire you can run without rubbing

If you have any future plans of lifting the truck, you will kick yourself in the ass if you don't get 285/75's or 305/70's. Just my .02 Good luck man

Tires will only look bigger on 16's because of the tire to wheel ratio. I'd go for 16's if you want a more agressive look.
