I'm interested for Gen3 Tacos in Rapid City, SD.
If it's just a matter of a laptop and a connector, you could Webex, Zoom, Teams to my machine and run it.

Cody from Tuned Yota travels to Rapid City, SD. I'm not sure when his next visit is planned, but you can reach out to him and discuss options.

Or if you wanted to do a remote tune where you are able to tune your own truck, we can assist you with that directly. Email info@overlandtailor.com and we can discuss options.

Wondering if you have anyone who travels to SF Bay Area? Fremont CA specifically.

Also why do people opt for remote tuning? I'm just curious because I would consider.

For the folks who like the convenience of flashing themselves and/or being a little more involved in the tuning process, the self-flash option is popular and one we're happy to support. The convenience does come at an additional cost from the required flashing equipment. You can get the necessary hardware from OTT directly or through VFTuner/HPTuners if you do not already have said equipment.

For example, Our 2G Tacoma N/A package includes a device, credits, and a pre-configured tune pack for $599 + S/H.

If you prefer remote tuning, we're always happy to discuss with an email to info@overlandtailor.com Otherwise, our authorized retailers will be happy to get you squared away as well.

This tune just continues getting better the more I drive the truck. I've tried them all. KilledDrivabilityMAXimized included. This is such a better tune. If you're on the fence, go with OTT. You won't be disappointed.

I switch so many guys off other tunes. I get no enjoyment out of seeing frustrated customers spend more than they have to. Do it right the first time, and save time and sanity  Certain brands give tunes a bad name. Stick with the best - OTT!

Here is an example from just this morning.

I just realized that @JustDSM is in Ogden... I go to Utah periodically and Ogden is not too far out of the way... I don't know that I want a tune, but if I do I know where to go now! :goingcrazy:

Oh, according to the OTT site that's not a tuning location. Have to go to SLC for it. Still doable.

I don't think you do any favor for "promoting" ott.
I just drove 100 miles up north on kdmax doing 70-90 (steep grades, etc.) and feel less and less urge wanting to try anything else.

I highlighted that for you :)
Another perfect example that you posted. I went ahead and purchased all three, because if I didn't do that I'd always be wondering how the others are. For that reason, I am glad that I did. As one guy posted earlier, before he switched to OTT he felt like his truck was shifting at odd points and staying revved so high all the time that it was like someone learning to drive a stick and not knowing how to shift the truck properly and at the right times.

OTT is definitely the one you want to go with if you decide to tune your truck. You won't be disappointed.

Driving 70-90 isn't the reason so many switch to OTT. It's the slower speeds and city driving that I read about all the time.

Happy to talk and get you sorted. I’m in SLC but work up near Ogden so pretty easy to meet up depending on where you’re at in the valley.
