So this could, maybe, lead to a new type of "What lube should I use?" thread.

As an overlander myself I am not sure a lot of overlanders will want a bed rack from the factory. I am waiting to see what the payload will be and if they have taken this into account.

These are being marketed to people who drive to the office with RTT's and have no intention of going off road. Not actual overlanders.

Only available in a 4-door double cab so there will be no rejoicing for singles or couples without pets/kids that would prefer a larger bed and camper space.

I don’t think they will supply the pro or the trail Hunter with a front bumper and a winch. Could’ve offered that along with a package but maybe they will in the future. No lockers, front bumpers and a winch. Feels like Toyota thinks future 4G Tacoma drivers are not adequate enough to use them.

That's a horrible idea. What time?
6 foot bed is available on the Trailhunter.

Yes, but only with a double cab, so for those who don't need a double cab you end up with an unnecessarily long wheelbase (reduced trail performance) and unnecessary weight (reduced load capacity, extra wear and tear)

Then get a different trim level, like and Offroad, and add some of the stuff you want from the Trailhunter. From what I have heard, Trailhunter options are available on the Pro, Sport, and Offroad. Vehicle is not even on the road yet and people are complaining without listening to what we already know. This should be so much fun.

All the adds without impacting factory warranty is huge, I like, also having additional ground clearance, air compressor, steel, etc all under Toyota warranty a few years is so nice

According to their currently published info, the Xtracab is not available to the TRD Off-road. It's only on the SR, SR5 and Prerunner. None of those three are shown with the 326/465 powertrain.
