I am excited to see that you will also be producing a supercharger system. It would be really nice if you could also include a quick change pulley system with your kit as it is the easiest way to increase power and torque for the lowest cost. The 2nd gen guys have been doing this for a long time. Pulley boys and smooth flow pulleys have been making these for all types of superchargers. URD also makes them for the TRD/Magnuson superchargers on the 2nd gens. The URD kit is only $165 which includes the connector and pulley while just the pulley is only $99. Your web site shows 3 stages so maybe it could be included with stages 2 and 3. @12TRDTacoma has a great thread on supercharger mods in the performance section which explains how easy it is to increase power by changing to a smaller pulley along with many other great ideas.

Turbochargers work off of exhaust gasses and do not require a pulley setup in order to drive them, as they are not driven off of the engines crankshaft rather their exhaust. This being said a turbochargers boost can be increased via a boost controller, mechanical upgrades for them are not necessary unless you are exceeding the RPM limits of the turbocharger itself then it would be time to replace your turbocharger assembly with a larger one.

If he does make a supercharger for them though, increasing the boost would require pulley swaps for sure.

It was a guy talking on a Magnuson post. Made it seem like he knew what he was talking about but apparently not.

Thought maybe I had missed something but happy to hear the push is still on.

Personally I’d prefer turbo but I also like best bang for the buck, so if SC is going to be $1500 cheaper I’d go for that.

Please tell me the tune for 3rd gens running 4.88 gears is available now. If you seriously built tunes for 3rd gens with turbos and supercharger first you need to do a bit more market research.

His tune is made for stock trucks, first.
His team is making the turbo/supercharger kits, so he is making the tune for it, second.

Since both tune and FI kits are his products.

Regearing is not under OVTUNE, so I would think there is no priority.

Wouldn't being regeared make the truck far more driveable, when compared to the tune?

    Edit:
Instead of working with a relatively small market opportunity (among Tacoma owners, how many actually regear?), why not monopolize on a whole new different market.

I'm sure they are doing the right market reseach.
