Not gonna lie, sometimes I wish we had emissions... the all redneck done diesels are kinda gross.

So you might be the only one in CA getting some OVTune awesomeness!

We are a rural county, and there are plenty of jacked up diesels... but we are also at the top of the list for cleanest air in the country.:oldglory: Along side your Montana. Probably the reason for exemption

The normal 3.5EB actually uses smaller turbos than the K03. The K03 is used on the 2.0EB motors. That being said, if you're talking about the new HO 3.5EB, I think those use bigger turbos, which might be the K03.

in general in regards to turbos and SC kits, would this eliminate the “need” for a re-gear? and what’s the mpg loss/gain if any??

regear was covered about 1 to 2 pages back maybe. Regear for tire size, mpg depends more on engine load than it does power capable.

more power your engine is producing at any given second more fuel it is using, less power your vehicle is making at any given second less fuel it has to use. More air = more fuel, less air = less fuel. Want good fuel mileage stay out of the boost even if your truck is boosted.

Stupid question. Any issues with running the TT through deep water where it could become submerged?

Ive found load to have less of a factor than rpm surprisingly. I would have thllught less load would have more of an impact. Comparing 4th low load to 5th gear high load (i haz 315s so its always high load in 5th)
If you cant keep water out of the intakes then yes.

3.5 EB in trucks use Borgwarner K03, Raptor uses larger version K03s, 3.5EB in the taurus uses GT...GT15s I think.
There are many different versions of K03s, K04s..

I see that the manifolds are included with the turbo purchase, any plans to also in include the tune with the kit? or do you plan on selling it separately still as there will be no savings buying it with or without the kit?

There's really no "manifolds" on these engines since they are part of the cylinder head. The dump tubes are what goes between the engine and exhaust side of the turbo. This setup should almost be thought of more like those rear mount turbo systems, only the turbos aren't in the rear of the truck, they are by the transmission or somewhere in there.

they give a quicker spool than single scroll, and the target is for max boost/torque at low rpm, Mat stated a few posts back the target was 1500 rpm for hitting max boost similar to the Ford Ecoboost on their F-150.

edit: first post states max boost @ 2100 rpm
