I'd agree to, a fast Tacoma that can spank a f150 and a raptor would be awesome

Sorry if it’s already been asked but still on pump gas so far for tuning? Curious if you’ll be going for max effort on e85 or 100+oct?
What’s the max capability of the stock fuel pump/injectors?

I’d bet the current priority is getting the kits out on a stable tune using pump gas before there’s a move to E85, meth, or race gas

E85 and race gas is a PITA to get too. It’s so unfortunately locational :( I only found race at one place in California and it was prohibitively expensive to buy anything north of 93.

Seriously, wonder if he was coming from a sports car before. My last truck was a stock first gen and my non tuned third gen on 33’s feels like a power house compared to it

It’s actually both. I own a 2018 F-150 now. It shifts a lot but it’s so smooth you don’t feel most of them. And the shifts are very close together, some only showing a couple hundred rpm difference. It keeps the engine in the power band a lot better.

True, pump gas is priority was just curious at what boost/power levels is the higher octane needed. With the higher compression already I would think you’d meet the limit of 91/93 quicker. Obviously don’t want to test the limits by finding what breaks something but I wonder how much power the 3.5l can take.

The ethanol blends are easily found here in TX, race gas isn’t cheap either.

It's a 13 speed but nobody ever uses the granny 1st gear, I'd never drive a 18, doing what I do I'd never make use of the extra 5 gears in reality.

I doubt it was an abandon ship.... more like a ‘time out’ for everyone to chill and him to get caught up on the success of his products.

I wouldn't blame him if he did. The other thread is almost 2400 pages of pure retardation with about 3 pages of useful information.

I tend to read all the posts.... pita. But, sometimes I filter down to just his posts to make sure I didn’t miss something.

What are you guys talking about “abandoned ship”?? He posts in this thread once per week and then replies a couple times.

Personally, I would rather see him focus on product development and support while providing updates as he can.

The 1.05 tune thread? No, just this one but good to know, thanks.

I see his stuff on fb before I see it here so that works for me too.

He's taking a month off TW to get caught up with his business and life. Not "abandoning ship".

    So,
    here you go.
Below 3500 rpm can be pretty much ignored on both graphs (due to shift control). It's a "stock vs boosted" 1:1 comparison. because to get accurate full torque readings in low RPM range requires gearlock + some additional TC controls, which we will show off in a separate graph.
    141HP gain
    155 ft lbs gain
