That's interesting, but there is a difference between swapping the suspension and adding FI to an engine.

Really I couldn't care less if I void the base warranty, I just don't want to void a warranty I paid for.

I'll double check once I'm home in a week or two, the internet only gives me the brochure.

Gobs of fun and misinformation here.

Why are you shit posting in a third gen FI thread? Someone has envy.

Manufacturers have been designing engines like your assumption for decades. Look at the legendary 4G63(T) (that’s the engine in the DSM trio of cars all the way up to the last Evolutions made).

When the sales guy talked about the extended warranty to me he said any part that I did not directly touch/replace is covered. But I still gotta read the fine print

And you only get about 30-40 pounds more torque at 2500 rpm, so what?

4.0L can't pass for shit on the highway too

I was pointing out he should take it out, period. It’s a third gen specific thread about an awesome upcoming product.

not nearly as bad as the general thread, which I won’t go near o_O

    Peak tq on the 3.5 is @ 4700 rpm....4.0 @ 3700.

Not sure where hes getting the 2200 vs 6000 rpm

I recall you talking about using a larger intercooler. We're these temps due to a high ambient temperature, the size or the turbos, or something else?

Those peak temps aren’t bad considering it’s stationary and on a Dyno. Being a mid mount system I can see how well it helps with cooler discharge with it being at 107F. My top mount would be a lot hotter at peak temps somewhere from 120-127F

It was never in stock. It was just a place holder for inventory page.

    We are all waiting patiently.

2200 is where the turbos start to get onto some solid boost, its called *area under the curve*, STOCK numbers no longer apply in any way when you get FI, a 4.0 that's SCd will no longer have the same powerband, if you study the dyno charts, Stock vs TT, their vastly different! Also this is on a dyno, on the street the truck will normally drive way better than it does on the dyno with a *Simulation* Before anyone try's to roast me on my statement's, I'm NOT trying to bash Matt at all, whenever I get my financial troubles in line, I will be without a doubt ordering one of these kits. Oh and for water crossing, I'm curious how a coating would help, ceramic I believe its called.
