This is exactly what I mean. If I don't respond to a product that is still in development because he needs an answer, that's poor customer service.

I'll just post troll videos on instagram of fake superchargers instead?...

No support?!?! Not this again. Mat has been working on this for at least a year and has walked countless customers through their computer issues and sometimes their own ignorance. He has been generous with sharing information on this site, that he doesn't need to, he just likes to keep us informed. Personally, if I were him, I wouldn't post anymore on this site because of all the people like you and I know Mat won't say it, but I would be he is glad you are not going to be a customer because once you get the product all you will do is bitch, ask stupid questions that eat up his time, and then do a charge back. You mine as well get off this thread because you are so far in the minority, you are not going to get any love from TW members.

Please know the majority of us Tacoma owners appreciate what you do. And can patiently wait for updated information as your development progresses.

Honestly this is the response I would have expected from him. We are extremely overwhelmed and I apologise for the delay. Not oh ya we just ignored you. Ironically it has taken way more time to respond to me on here then just responding to my email

Wow, you really know how to come off as an entitled D-bag! What don’t you understand about a product being in development? Why should you get your specific question answered about a product in development before anyone else gets even the basic info that we all want and need in order to decide if this is the product for us? Whatever your questions were, it doesn’t matter because the product is still in development. Products still in development can and often do change so the info you’re looking for may be different in 3mo. See a common theme yet? Product. Still. In. Development.

Cut the BS about no support down the line. You’re not a customer! You sound like a big whiner.

The more people like you attack vendors, the less info we will get because you basically punish them for sharing even a morsel of info. It may even mean that Mat spends less time and resources on this development because it’s not rewarding, in fact it’s a headache.

Honestly, this is why large companies tell you absolutely nothing about new products until they officially start their marketing campaigns. OVT is a much smaller operation so they may not have figured this out yet, or maybe Mat just likes to keep the community and prospective customers informed. That is something I appreciate very much! With the luxury of getting that info, comes the responsibility to be patient and understanding. I realize that is increasingly difficult with today’s generation, my own generation, because we get nearly everything instantly, but in many cases it pays off.

I, for one, am extremely excited and anxious for the TT kit and any FI kits for the Taco. I realize that this stuff takes time and as badly as I want more power, I know I just have to sit back and wait. There is literally nothing I can do or say to make OVT work faster, so I just giggle like a school girl every time they do decide to share some info with us in the meantime. I strongly encourage you and everyone else to do the same.

Exactly my point. Because you came here to complain that your special questions weren’t answered, you’ve wasted time that would have benefited the entire 3rd Gen community. But you’re more important

I'm glad he has helped out people who have had issues, but apparently there are people who are not happy as well. That's the point of a forum everyone has a chance to share there experience. Just like you just shared yours. I don't need love from TW or yourself. And let's be honest he doesn't post the information to benefit us..it's a business and he is generating hype and gauging interest. I'm sure the same goes for other vendors on here. Sure they might make something they thought was cool and would like to share but they want to make some money. The blanket statement of people like me is pretty judemental, but sit up in your tower thinking you are apart of some special group.

I am curious though, what questions did you have that you couldn't find the answers to in the previous 179 pages you read?

Would having my mother in law in the truck count? The only problem is that she is considered a protected species if you are in Florida.

Now that Tacoman88 isn't going to buy, is there a poor unloved TT kit somewhere going to waste? A poor FI orphan in need of a forever home?

Seriously how is expecting some kind of a response entitled. It's common dam courtesy, the questions I asked come have been answered even with the product in development. Straight up ignoring someone is a dick move. This really isn't even about being impatient, if it takes another year so be it. But setting some expectations isn't hard. If your auto response says when we are busy it may take 3-5 days people expect a response of some sort. But apparently that makes me an asshole. As for the support comment that's coming from the experience I have just received and my past dealing with stuff of this nature. I hope he proves me wrong. People may see this as bitching in fact it's more informative then anything else. Others will now understand that if it pertains to the FI there questions will not be get answered. As for companies not releasing information I disagree with that, it happens alot. Along the way information gets "leaked" and this is not by accident. For example.of you keep up with tech. AMD has a new release of CPUs. Before the launch bench marks showed up prior to launch. Why would you post you results if you don't want Info leaked.

But everyone has said there piece and I'm not going to continue beating a dead horse. I was sharing my experience everyone can make up there own mind

Again, it’s still in development. It may not even be possible to answer your question and even if it is, it’s probably not smart for them to do so because it’s still in development. So yes, again, you sound like an entitled little brat. Just quit. OVT owes you absolutely nothing, just because you emailed them about something they’ve already said on every platform that they will share what they can when they can. They even removed the damn item from the website. Not sure what else you want. Oh and you clearly haven’t read all 179 pages. If you did, then you have terrible comprehension and are more of a dick than we though. No I’m not going to explain why. Go read 179 pages.

As for your tech example. That’s all part of their marketing & Product launch plan. There aren’t very many instances of true leaks. I happen to work for a large intl manufacturer and have quite bit of exposure to how this works, why they do different things, how the media rounds work, and what the most effective means are to stir up interest in actual consumers/users. Benchmark testing is an example of “stirring up interest in actual users”. So my point stands whether you like that reality or not.
