I think the mods should Let Mat make a thread only he can post on so we don’t get some many people filling them with pointless shit. Sucks because there actually is a lot of great questions but a lot a lot of not so great also.

 

I would hope there is a 91 octane tune, he would lose a lot of business in Canada if he neglected that. It’s possible to get 93/94 octane but 91 is always available.

 

I know the thread is pretty long at this point, but he already mentioned 91+ for the FI setups. Of course 93 will be preferred and offer more gains, but 91 is an option. There are many densely populated regions in the US where 93 is not available as well.

 

With so much interest in power gains.....first system available may get a critical corner of the market

 

The only caveat to this is turbo vs S/C. I believe OVT is the only one reportedly developing a turbo kit while all of the rest are going to S/C route.

Considering the power delivery and where this engine lacks power, I only want turbos. Maybe others aren’t as picky and will go for whatever is available??

 

I am also interested in the TT for it's better performance at altitude. There is no worse feeling than not being able to pass a semi truck while climbing a mountain grade and then watching a Nissan Versa fly past both of you.

 

places over here on the east coast in rural areas like me only have 87oct. can get 91 in the big towns.

But was at Offroad expo yesterday and the magnuson guys booth looked more half assed than the army recruiting booth so I’m not expecting much outta those cats at all for the remainder of 2019
