Well the twin turbo be compatible with the dump tunes?

 

He and his wife had a baby last year and I heard he blew up the rear end of his 3rd gen for (at least) the 2nd time...last I heard a few months back it was awaiting a 9" rear axle swap.

I expect he'll make a comeback soon enough

 

I would be interested, however, would need to check if I can get 93 close by (i think the max we get here in Kansas is 91) and also local dyno.

I would assume a 91 octane set up will be in the future. Can’t afford to lose that much business on the people that can’t get 93 octane

I hung out with a major dealership owner who got to drive the new tundras recently. Said there are three engine options, one being a turbo small engine. Can't remember if he said it's the 3.5 but would make some sense.

 

Hopefully Toyota isn't trying to emulate Chevy's Silverado with the turbo-4banger.

Nah, it's probably a turbo version of our 2GR. Still not very appealing to me at least. I'm sure their tune will be very "Toyota conservative".

 

That might get me to upgrade, that is assuming it has an ECU you can crack.

 

@OVTune The turbo kit has the same catted dump tubes that you sell standalone right?
