I don't want a refund, I want my order shipped. How many customers who ordered dump tubes from Quebec do you have? Anyway, ticket 9206… you know what to do next.

Just hire someone to take care of your CS, you obviously can't do it alone anymore.

You paid for a pre-order 3 months ago. So that means you get it when you get it

30 days lead time, he had them by October 7 or before. You guys can defend him all you want, this is just poor customer service.

You seem to be stuck in the mentality that you’re the only customer in the world. There’s no point in arguing with people like you

Why would I even think that? But while we're on it, Pro-Tip : If you treat all your customers like they're the only one, issues like that won't happen, because in the end the customer is king.

I guess I will abide by your first rule, can't take you seriously.

I imagine there's a lot of additional clicks and activity here on TacomaWorld because OVTune chooses to communicate here.

His organization could easily spin up their own dedicated product forum where they moderate the content (and bullshait posts.)

I'm kinda surprised this thread doesn't get cleaned out more frequently by TW mods... but then again like most things.. you can't please everyone all of the time.

Really excited about getting this taco some snails I don’t care if I have to wait 2 years I’ll wait.. and I won’t complain.

Customer is not really the king... this is an age old adage from the service industry and no longer is a one fits all statement

The customer is powerful but like anyone with power if they abuse that power... they shouldn’t be treated like a king

You can bring to market a product no customer has even heard of or wants and make them want it. Most tech company’s have had to follow this way of operating and those that crack it will set consumer trends. Rather then pandering to the king .. ladies and gentlemen the king is dead

TW would probably need a dedicated OV moderator for that I'm guessing. think how much time a single mod would spend reading assessing and adjusting. maybe a better solution is to... oh nevermind.

As always, things are never absolute, only a Sith deals in absolute lol

You wouldn't believe the shit we go through to please our customers in my field. If I don't abide by their rules, at best I lose my job, at worst the ship is kicked off the refinery dock.

My point as been made, haven't seen anyone denying it. I still love @OVTune products, which is why I never asked for a refund, but sometimes things need to be said in order to move forward.

Mat can always take or leave the criticism, but he'd be well advised to take it and improve his CS, because it's not his products which are at fault here, we can all agree on that.

No doubt.. I think in ovtune case as a company they are a bit stretched In terms of CS But compared to what? The Marriott group? Ford? Compare them to some of the tiny companies in the off-road many of the company’s that are developing products don’t take the time that mat does to answer questions and squash nonsense.. try speaking to gadget at URD which is larger company that’s been around has dedicated persons on cs so to speak... it’s like speaking to yoda

I’m sure ovtune is planning on improving Cs now he’s moved into a larger location but I for one would prefer he spent his time figuring out the twin snails.

I agree with you, but OVTune is not what I would call a tiny company anymore. A good boss need to know when to delegate, does he really need to take care of shipping and handling himself?

It's awesome that he takes time to answer our concerns on this forum or via Zendesk, but he would have even more time to do so if he didn't have to worry about orders and such.

This is even more revelant to this thread now that he is stepping into products that are worth over 5k.

I think I've beaten the horse enough now, time to go.

If ovtune isn't your definition of a small company. Then what is? Ovtune is one of the smallest companies you will find. It was clear the dump tubes were a pre order item. And he has updated this thread and others multiple times in regards to timeline on product delivery. Patience is a virtue. If you don't have them. Then get a refund. Doing a charge back or (dispute) as you call it. Sure is a shitty way. Especially when it was mentioned to contact zendesk if you want a refund. It was also made crystal clear communication would be limited during the shutdown and move.

You clearly don't even read my posts properly before commenting. I didn't charge, I opened up a dispute so he ships them ASAP, they'll charge if he doesn't. He has the product in hand and said many times in different threads that all current orders will be handled even in the shutdown.

He's shipping internationaly and most likely have customers in the thousand or more, no he's not a small company.

I clearly read your post. Not going to argue to the wall here. If you think a company with a couple employees isn't small. Then you obviously live in an entirely different world. Good luck with your dispute. ☮️

The size of a business is not measured in the number of employees but in its sales volume.

Taken out of context.... he is still obligated to fulfill his orders.
