    That’s what I’m talking about! I don’t care if this things power curve is flat beyond 4500, getting the torque down low is what this thing needs and will make it a heck of a lot of fun!

    Exactly. This engine has a good amount of power north of 4000, but it feels like a dog down low. Unless you drive like a maniac, it's hard to actually get in the power band when driving around town.

    10 psi at 1300 RPM with the stock 2GR FKS bottom end sounds a little precarious.... please prove me wrong.:cool:

    10 psi is more than i care to run, but awesome to know either way. Also , my memory is fuzzy but i think Mat had stated that toyota was kind enough to put forged rotating assemblies in these trucks.

    10 psi is just a number. It's all about what that translates into Torque to deem safe or not. It's easy to bleed off torque, just retard the intake cam.

    Anyways if anyones engine blows first it will be ours, to find out where it blows

    If you don't mind me asking, where did you buy those Turbo's?
    Or maybe these come stock on certain Fords?

    I'm trying to figure out if I want to try and salvage a turbo off a junker or buy a new one.

    Not sure if anyone else has any ideas on this well but I'm just in research mode atm so had to ask.

    Also SUPER stoked to see how things progress as I am already saving for a Turbo tune and the parts to do this. :)
