OVTune 3.5L Tacoma Supercharger and Twin Turbo Systems

Would you be able to modify something so that 5th and 6th gear is useable in 4lo? My truck and everyone I’ve asked is limited to 4th gear in low range

 

ok 4 Low video to 6900 rpm
Just full throttle straight through. Spins all 4 in low. 40mph spinning

I'd be equally interested in how it performs in 2wd local street, city and highway (mpg too) and towing. Some detailed pics of install would be cool also.

 

2wd on the street performance is very nice. Normal driving isn't much different, just extra torque ready and willing when needed.
Highway mpg is TBD.
Pics, prices, etc very soon.

 

Please do a hill like the one with "the smoke". Should be plenty of TW members in your area to go with that would love to see the TTs in that environment.

 

All this talk and videos of TT makes me want to start stripping weight and go long travel. These SC's and TT's could start the popularity for more hybrid bumpers and lighter armor for 3rd gen light weight builds.

 

That’s what I am doing. My truck was over 6100lbs and a pig. I swapped to hybrid bumpers, steel skids—>Al, and went with a lighter wheel/tire combo, carbon hood, etc. just that alone felt way better... now I’m really ready for some boost.

 

My truck is almost 6k with no armor

@OVTune so garrett bolt on option is base option. Powermax is obviously the better option. You are currently testing the powermax? What will be the big difference between the two options as far as performance?

 

Holy shit, under 4k if you're already a tuned customer lol

 

Powermax twins are capable of 600HP. (also comes with bigger injectors, pump, etc).
Base Garrett option is capable of about 450.


The Powermax twins come tomorrow for my truck. All current videos are on the base kit with smaller intercooler.

 

Which Garretts are you using for the base kit?

 

The base Garrett option with ~450 seems legit af already
