Yes, I think that’s a great mid way option between the two kits. Could you ballpark a price for the fuel controller and pump kit?

Ok so now I’m curious. Now you’re saying even the base kit will require fuel system upgrades as well or just to turn it up higher? Maybe I’m reading this wrong.

He's saying if you want to go beyond the advertised base kit boost pressure, you'll need a fuel pump kit. The base kit will not require it unless you want more than what is already advertised.

That sounds good. That what I want. Can always add things later if I find out I want more (hopefully).

I want a kit but can't commit. I'm quite tempted to ditch the truck altogether as the drivetrain issues aren't my only problem with it. Gotta weigh if turbos will make me happy enough to ignore my other complaints.

Very interested in base kit with cooler upgrade. I’ll make my design when I know how this will affect smog testing for registration renewal. I’m in Reno, NV. Just moved here about 5 months ago, so I do t have any understanding how things work around here.

If you have a 2018+ and the hand held tuner, the hand held still isn't able to read the ECU so you can't load OVT. Mat posted in the tune thread that the hand held supplier is "very very close" to having the fix ready to go live. I've heard this from the supplier directly over a month ago, but I'm anxiously and (im)patiently waiting the fix as I like the idea of a hand held vs the normal flash kit.

I'm ready for a kit. Was going to go with the base kit, but with the OEM fuel pump issues thinking PowerMax with fuel system upgrades. Still interested in seeing the dyno numbers to see the differences b/w base and big boy kits.

I'm curious what your other complaints are. I went from 2017 limited to 2020 limited and love it. a few of the changes I like are 1) LED headlights 2) 360 camera view. 3)power seat. 4) larger display. 5)and for me with the limited got rid of that damn hickory color interior 6) fixed mucho improvo trans shifting zero to 70 mph very smooth and quicker as should be ( that was big deal I still may get these TT though hell they prolly stole OVtunes code at least it proved they new issue there to fix), when I bought the 2017 I thought the hickory would grow on me or whatever. naw grew to hate it more and more
