Thanks OVT for the thorough R & D work with this kit. Appreciate your updates regarding your progress. This TT kit is going to be one of the best mods available for the 3rd gen and show Toyota that there is a market for a more powerful boosted engine.

Curious to know if the V35A-FTS has any important differences or similarities to the 2GR-FKS specifically regarding boost (internals, intercooling, fueling, etc). I'm guessing you have done some homework looking into the development of the V35A-FTS.

Lets see some more boosted videos!!

    The V35A Tundra is delayed.
Couldn't be more disappointed. The same Ol" 5.7 for 2021.
It's 2021 what can we innovate!...make a darker version! Lol.

2022 tundra better be freaking perfect right off the lot. They've been working on it for a long time.
The V35A engine was developed like back in ..2015 I think.

Probably shelved... They are probably looking at hybrid over the turbo.

In a perfect world they would be doing something that makes sense in the full-size market. Like releasing a 1VD-FTV powered, solid front axle Tundra. Even with an auto trans I’d buy one with those two additions.

I would actually give thought to giving up my MT Taco for that.....

Unfortunately I just don't see it ever happening in the US.

Never said anything about 1/2 ton. They are already in the light duty 3/4 territory with the 10.5” rear axle on the tundra. I say full float the rear, 9.5” solid axle the front, sling a diesel under the hood and build a solid 3/4 ton to add to the line up. :D

Just give us the landcruiser pickups! Expanding the land cruiser line to include the pickup trucks they already sell around the world would check all those boxes plus some.

Stronger components, less moving parts, more capability off road for lower cost and more suited to the driving I do.

That's what I was wondering, just open the butterflies in the Holley double barrel and drop some gas in there.. doesn't seem that hard.
