So excited that the TT kit looking like it will be the first boost kit to market. Well done OVT  and appreciate your hard work. As with many others, so looking forward to boosting this Taco. :muscleflexing:

Sorry if this has already been discussed but is the issue the feed fitting and drain fitting to the turbo? If so, what size drain fitting will be required?

BTW, great work! If this proves to be an affordable and reliable mod it would be what it takes to convince a hardhead like me to step up from a Gen 2 to a Gen 3. The PRO is already looking better everyday

There was going to be an option to not tap the oil pan for feed and return lines and instead use a fitting with the lines that went in the drain plug hole.

And to verify, on the big boost kit what ethanol range is required and will you be able to “detune” the truck to run on 92 for road trips and what not

    E50.

you can "detune it" by lowering boost via boost controller.
I can setup, but haven't decided yet, that you can switch from high boost tune, to low boost tune via ECT button. (which would switch from pump gas to E50)..but we will see.. haven't completely decided.

okay guys, got a lot of data to share with you guys tonight.
Sorry no videos yet, was planning on some nice drone footage, but I crashed my drone, and the front camera is ....something aint right with it now.

edit** the drone crashed it's damn self following the preset points..

But I do have a ton of logs from boost runs and such. which I will be going over all of that.
As soon as I fix my drones front camera we will have some sweet videos.

By the way if you're in the market for a drone... DJI drone app is ridiculously stupid annoying with their "zones" and I think that's what caused it to crash

When I bought mine I was between a karma or mavic. I was not a fan of the reliance on the phone and app for the mavic.

got my karma. Crashed it. Then they recalled them all and sent me a free GoPro for the inconvenience.

I have a mavic platinum and I the stupid zoning is ridiculous. I am zoned out in my own back yard because I live 10 foot ball fields away from a train track.

their app broke my drone I'm sure of it lol. Half my fault, I bought the drone to get some nice videos of the truck, but didn't have time to *thoroughly* test the auto flight paths

Aren’t all ‘legit’ drone makers required to use the same no fly zones? I have a DJI Inspire V1.2 I haven’t flown in a while, but it does some great footage when I do fly it.

Forgive me if this has been covered or is a stupid question but.... Will this work for us MT folk? The potential de-tune with the ETC button threw me off a little.

attached is a full throttle log

It does not get all 4 to spin on pavement from a stop in 4H.

in 2WD it just breaks loose right away.

I also tested some brake boost / 4H Launching, which is freaking awesome in this truck.
Hold the brake down (hard) and floor it. It will stay around 2500 RPM and create full boost, let off the gas and launch like hell

    But it pulls beautifully.
AFR target is good. Ignition still needs some cleaning for the tune, but that's not hard to get sorted. roughly 7-9* across of advance from 2500 rpm.

Note, that the kits are going to come with BOV-less turbos only, unless you specifically want the bov option.
The BOVs on these turbos are stupid loud, and it generates some boost at part throttle, so you get that "bov woosh" ...quite often.

Traction control testing shows that throttle is stilll being limited (as it should) with traction control. The red lines showing where I hit full boost (just above 2000 rpm)
fuel is good, throtle is good, traction works appropriately to control spin still.

    Important notes:

Fuel has been modified completely for more accurate control. We no longer are using port injector / split injection start up.
Direct injectors are now used at idle and throughout most low and moderate load areas.
The Catalyst warm up sequence has been significantly lessened (the amount of time).

@OVTune Do you have a plan for the intake yet? I am assuming using the stock box isn't going to be an option anymore.
