No. Tundra, but I think it would be a great location to have the gauge. Me-So can make up a 3D print or whatever material the genius comes up with for that location. Would be amazing

Don’t know if they make them for Tacoma but if you’re any good with fiberglass, DIY.

@mesojdm maybe something like this is better suited for our trucks.

I definitely think on the door is a bad idea. Way too far for keeping eyes in the road and monitoring boost. This is from an Evo X as an idea. You really don’t need the middle area of the info in the dash while driving if it did block it from view at certain times.

That only blocks the center dash screen, something I want to retain. Let's see what @mesojdm comes up with

It depends on what angle you look at the dash. It is much safer and user friendly there. Just out of curiosity, what exactly do you routinely monitor in the middle of the dash? The tire pressure?

It's a give and take, and the pillars could be tricky with the airbags, and trust me if this works in a car that can go close to 200 mph and keep the driver from being distracted, I'm sure it will be fine in our trucks. By the way, this was an idea for mesojdm. Let him do the figuring out and we will see. Plus, the steering wheel is one of the cleanest set ups that is least distracting.

Toyota needs to team up with him and do a Meso edition. Would be better than other trim levels we currently have. LOL

The info display is useful for many things, tire pressure, speedo, tachometer, compass, fuel milage, etc...

Right I understand that. We pretty much all have the same trucks and info available. So does the car (Evo X) that you saw the example of.

So my question is, during the driving process how often do we actually routinely look at that screen and is that info more important than monitoring your boost? Coming from an Evolution 8 I can tell you I religiously kept an eye on the boost gauge. Also, just because that picture looks like it’s pretty much blocked doesn’t mean it would be exactly the same in our trucks. You gotta use some imagination. Plus this part would probably be an easier, cheaper mod to do than the pillar for instance.

Everyone is different and has different requirements. This is so maybe we can have multiple options to choose from. The other part is it’s definitely less distracting than some other options which should be important on the roadways especially with turbos and much faster speed capabilities. (Not that anyone should speed).

Might as well make a HUD and incorporate speed, rpm, and boost.

I have some students working on rooting the Tacoma's program for the center display in the instrument cluster (I wanted to change the color of the truck on startup and get rid of the broken pavement background). Why not just make a submenu for another screen with boost information, etc.?

Or replace a screen with relevant boost info. I personally don't use the phone messages screen, told my truck not to read my messages aloud and all that.
