my only concern is there are no real world numbers or metrics to base my accusation of towing more off of.
The trucks limited on towing based on what it's legally labeled to tow. However there's nothing saying that it can't make it tow at it's limit easier and more reliably.

I'm bad with buyers remorse, especially on something like this just for funsy you know. So being able to make payments as stuff is ready helps ease the burden..

I've been putting most of my extra pennies towards a portfolio and well not to get that conversation started in a boost thread. I decided to spend a little on me since my vacation next week got cancelled when this Covid broke out, so I'm getting $2500 back from that planned vacation for two, being unmarried helps with these big purchases.

I am also very bad with this stuff. As I said in an earlier post I never learn when it comes to this stuff. I don’t have other bad addictions other than boost so I choose to justify this purchase that way. On second thought my 1st Gen 4Runner is costing me an arm and a leg in the process of a full restoration right now.

I’ve got a first gen as well that needs a full restoration, but that’s way down the line and it will sit for time being. I live in Alabama so it’s not going to rust away sitting.

I did opt for power max turbos. Oh well more boost at a later time.

Nice! Powermax for me as well on 5psi until I can come up with money for the D4-S goodies. I already have an AEM V2 meth kit I will transfer over from my 2nd gen. I am also hoping to repurpose the URD y-pipe as well. I’m sure I can reweld/ shape to fit the 3rd Gen.
Here is my 1st gen 4Runner as it sits.

@OVTune say we get the DI option and decide to upgrade to the full fuel upgrade system down the line. would we just get the in-tank fuel pump and port injectors for $938? or is that a package deal kinda thing?

Any vids of Powermax on pavement? It might be the straw that breaks the camel’s back for anybody holding out.

Right now my FOMO is ramping up but keep telling myself I have to wait for install details and how it behaves on pavement since I almost never off-road.

Does anyone own a closed course or private runway where Mat can record a street video?

Perhaps manufacturers have to be cautious hauling a$$ on public streets while testing "offroad only" equipment. Mainly I don't want anything to interfere with getting OVTune's TT on this truck!
