Thanks, I have no experience with casting.

    Which area specifically?
The pics on here are our prototypes (before finishing / machining).

If these are just the prototypes, then they probably already fixed the surface finish for production, indicated in area 1 of my picture. You can see how the wax pattern was "layered" like a topo map, which is indicative of the FDM additive mfg process. These layers will also be inside the pipe. When you get your first production run, check for these striations, and you will know if they are continuing to FDM the patterns, or they either made the wax pattern dies or moved to SLA.

What may not have been fixed is the tight fillet rad, shown in area 2. I wouldn't expect to finish machine this side of the flange all the way to the pipe so it might still be there.

We selected a company here in the USA with very high ratings for casting ability and quality. I could only assume they do it properly. These are investment cast. (but the imagine is prototypes).
The area you selected is oval with increased thickness.
They are also put through heat treating process, X Rays, etc.

how do you decide which gauge you wanted?

also, the ethanol gauges still work with regular pump gas right? Idk why they wouldn't.

I think as of now i am only running a boost gauge. but leaving option open to run a AFR gauge. Base kit maybe upgrading to DI upgrade. This gauge seems to have a solid backing only heard good things about it.

Fatigue crack propagation is agnostic of wall thickness. All it takes is one crack starter (sharp corner, nick/tool mark, material inclusion, etc) and the crack will propagate thru no matter how thick the material is.

If they are a reputable shop, then I'm sure it will end up being a high quality product.

They also make this in a 20 psi gauge. Just picked one up. Hell of a price.

Just preference. I actually prefer digital but I don't like the shift light indicator on that one. It Wouldn’t be used would look awkward and not put together I think.

I don't think it really matters. It all just depends on where you want the needle position to be on the gauge. I prefer longer sweep which means shorter range.

So 20 psi will work fine then vs the 30psi just a matter of choice?

Should work no problem, and it will give you 6 psi of range to monitor for overboost.
