So what analog boost gauges are people settling on? Thinking something that maxes at 15psi like Mat had suggested, if I even convince myself to get one at all lol

Looks like autometer makes a couple under 100 bucks that are 15 psi and 3 psi increments.

    Stawk as FUCK!
What brand and size of fuel components? We talking single Walbro 255 in tank and some 500-700cc injectors? Personally I've never tinkered with direct injection injectors so not sure if they need to flow more or less compared to regular port fuel injectors.

Side note, anyone know what our factory internals are looking like? Cast crank im assuming? Just curious to see wrist pin size, piston size, and rod composition. Main bearings and rod bearings would also be interesting to see.

Yeah I'd seen those, just wasn't 100% sure on what was considered to be good as far as branding. I haven't messed around with turbos and gauges in about 4 years and had digital prosport gauges back then

What's pricing on your vent mount probably looking like? Got a write up on how to go about removing the dash piece and installing?

Autometer is supposed to be pretty decent. I went with innovate 20 psi gauge.

Mount will likely be 30-35 plus shipping. As soon as I get the final done and heat tested I will put together install instructions. Everything comes apart pretty easy.

I have had these trim pieces out like 3 times a week since I have started messing around with this project test fitting and such.

Your mount is for a 52mm/2-1/16" gauge?

How's the aircon/airflow feel with the mount/gauge in the vent? I live in the desert so I'm trying not to cook myself

Thoughts on the FlexPod gauge mount? It's no Meso Tacopod but better than blocking an air vent IMO.

That’s where I originally wanted to mount mine. But after mocking them up and driving around to get a feel for that location... they blocked too much of my cluster(at least for my seating position). I guess I want gauges without any sacrifice. Or...my Cake and eat it too?

It's really not that bad for me at least. It was 96 here yesterday and I didn't notice any difference. The amount of air it blocks just gets moved to another vent so there is still flow but just more flow out of the other vents.

Can u make that style, move em further out and aim them up / in? Or still too clunky / restrictive?

I didn’t like it, but that doesn’t mean someone else will. Comes down to personal preference. Cheap and easy test is cut 2 60mm circles out of cardboard and tape them on the column. Drive around and see if you like the location.(but you have to make turbo noises with your mouth the whole time for the full effect:p)

Or maybe just taco pods because those are ideal.
