Well he did post a picture of semi-race car that im sure someone else built and tuned...gotta love them internet certified mechanics.
Changing spark plugs on a race car doesn't qualify you as a builder

The bearing flattening had me going. I've rebuilt a few engines and thought the cam, rod and crank bearings were already flat. However, I've always wondered how the bearings line up evenly on high end engine fractured rods.:notsure:

I just realised he used “Bearings” in a very vague manner. Technicly crankshaft bearings are already flat....

I know. That's the hard part but still good location. Doesn't block vent that way either.

Honestly maybe a large round Dial just isn't the best option? Any ways of modifying a digital guage to give us something more discreet and sleeker? Remove the lcd readout and build a mount around that?

You should make some pods like this to fit tweeters, something that could go on top of the stock grill area. I'd buy some for sure, the stock tweeter position is terrible.

    Mostly stuff I built.
3 gauge pod that fits above the head unit would be nice. Gauges focused towards the driver.

Oil pressure, voltage, boost, air:fuel, oil temp, actual coolant temp. Any combination of gauges each individual wanted.

What about mounting on the top left side of the windshield? Mounting may a challenge but it’s still easily viewable.

Visibility out of the top of the windshield for us tall guys is already iffy enough. I’m basically looking down the roof line unless I lean to the side.

That’s why I’m throwing this out there, for collective brainstorming!

I actually have a boost and AFR version of these on order. They are 1” OLED and i think Matt can output a signal to run them. IMO, this will be cleanest

I’d be game for a 1 off on that 3 gauge pod if you don’t mass produce any.
