Purchased VF tuner and cable but no luck on DI’s. Penbrooke Lexus won’t send to Canada, atleast their website won’t let me buy. Sent an email to them, so we will see if they will. In the meantime I called the local Lexus dealer and they want $5000 cdn for the set.

Mat, how do you feel about an aftermarket brand (Standard motor product) for the DI’s or stay far away?
Just say NAY to get that option out of my head.

Until we can get rid of the 1rst gear throttle limit for traction, you'll not be able to get maximum benefit in first gear.
It's only a matter of time until we resolve it.
You don't need full throttle to do burnouts.

A few reasons, mainly we need to focus on ensuring our forced induction option is the absolute best it can be. But on top of that the more I invest into developing for the SCs, the less we can do for our turbo kit. It kind of bites our own product in the butt.Another is just time.
I do not have the SC installed on our truck but I can say it is a very well put together unit, and will be very popular.
But in the end we really want our option to succeed, and it requires our complete dedication.

Magnuson has been posting pics / videos of trucks on the dyno and stuff so I expect you will see from them quite soon.

Never heard of them, and can't say I recommend something I know nothing about.

Definitely for the better. Tons of people are gonna be tuning it. Only 1 company has a TT.

    Makes complete sense.

Ok. I was thinking about how diesel trucks have race and tow tunes. I guess that isn’t an issue with this kit.

Well thank you for taking the time to explain what was happening ovtune, I appreciate it. Yeah improving someone else's product to perfection doesn't exactly help you keep 100% attention on your own setup, i completely understand.
But once your TT kit gets released fully, maybe then down the road you might have the time to install and develop a tune for the S/C and sell it.
Best thing I ever purchased for my tacoma was the tune built by your company, so you definitely have my money and trust for anything you make down the line. Can't wait to see some street videos of the twins!

If it ever came to this....with the fuel pump controller conversion, will it run on stock injectors/tune if we choose to decide to sell the vehicle later with the turbo kit removed or is the upgrade a standalone?

How much did everyone pay for the injectors? I swear it said they were 250 a piece, but when I went back to the site they were 290ish...

Well, I guess I'm not going FI then. I can't use your turbo kit due to California emissions and I don't want to give up the experience and effort that you've put into the tune that I have now. I thought if Magnuson was CARB legal and you'd be offering a tune then I'd be golden but it was not to be. I'll stick with your 2.0 tune (which is fantastic by the way) and live vicariously through the rest of these boosted batards.

In order for it to maintain CARB status you have to use their CARB approved tune (when/if it becomes available)
If you used our tune on it, it technically loses CARB status.

Same. Hidden in my junk folder of course. Thanks for putting that out there, or I'd not have even noticed. Just google the part number and order from another dealer with a comparable price. Unless it's a national back-order issue (GM has this problem a lot lately), then another dealer should be able to get them.

    Injector Part #: 23209-70130-01

These are the same ones I alternatively looked at but as Mat said it’s not a brand I’ve heard of either. If they were atleast generics such as Bosch or Siemens then maybe it would be worth a second look I suppose.
