    Gotcha, yeah that makes sense.

I am debating on whether to keep my Tacoma and boost it or go for a Tundra for slightly more power.

The fact that Carvana has offered me $3K above regular trade in value for my 4x2 high mileage taco and selling me a TRD off road Tundra with 10k miles for $33k makes this so much harder:(

I know a lot of people are gonna want to install from home. I get that. It's not super complex to install for a home mechanic. I just don't know how to approach the home installer and warranties.

Fair enough. It's likely the only way to do it, too. It's understandable

If you install at home, just document it. Pics. Etc.

I'm not really worried about anything breaking to be honest. My engine should have blown 3 x by now with what I've put it through.

That's true and More than likely the failure would allude to the root cause.

Just a FYI I decided to make my warranty similar to, but a little more lenient than other FI manufactures. I know everyone clamor about other FI warranty options, but your car usually has to have less than 30k miles on the clock to be eligible. So basically, a new truck.

I don't know to be honest, and with current laws and laws changing, I'm not entirely certain we can even provide these kits to people in California once we start selling again.

Did you mean 0w-20 vs. 5w-30?

Any issues in a dual 2-1/2” full exhaust? I’m pretty certain I’ll disqualify for the warranty, just don’t want to create an unsafe situation that the tune won’t handle. Specially when the exhaust cutout is open. Will have fuel pump upgrade + DI upgrade and will wait for your release of the 14 psi tune (10 psi tune until then)

    Work in progress.

    Oil has to be 5w30.

The turbos will burn oil with 0w20.

I have only tested with stock exhaust / TRD Pro exhaust if there is a difference.

Good deal. Just wanted to clarify, since the manual says to use 0w-20. As far as the exhaust, can you run a test with no exhaust, basically dump after the DPs?

That's more CAFE requirements rather than engine requirements.
If I can find a spot to test sure. Unfortunately the sheriffs know me because of my extremely loud GTR and pull me over a lot.

Will there be a tune for those that are NOT concerned about the warranty and looking to run 14–15 psi on the powermax with all of the fuel upgrades?
Or will we be running the 10 psi tune and just turning up the boost?
