Nope, should be fine, but will make installing the downpipe a little trickier.

the lines in red get moved to the box in the back (red) and the bracket (red arrow) gets moved, but that clutch line doesn't look like its in the way of anything.
You will want to put a bit of heat shielding on it though

It's not likely to cause any noticeable difference. The negative effect on the airflow will be minimal. Slight air turbulence or pressure build up as the air hits the intercooler at an angle, but on a truck i hightly doubt it will have an effect. Drag will be less of a concern than the shaking of driving a pickup over 90.

Interestingly enough they did a study on this on military aircraft with turbocharged engines (WW2 era) and found that it didn't make a difference at low angles.

over my head, but yah, didn’t think It’d make a monster difference. I’ll still change it to vertical while I’m swapping bumpers just because it’s on my mind.

You should be good. If anything might have to push that hardline a little closer to the center.
DEF wrap the soft line with some heat protection.
Here’s a better close up of where DP/hot side are in relation to the block

Not too shabby. Now hit the dump!!!!!

The only affect having it angled Will be to your OCD, not performance ;)

I’m glad you got the TR10C to work. I accidentally ordered both intercoolers (tr10c and tr1032)..stupid me . First choice I was hoping to make work was obviously the tr10c as it would avoid cutting into the rad support. Silverlining to my boo boo was if the tr10c failed to work as intended then I would have the other.

Very nice work, everything looks top notch. What else is left on your list before you can fire her up?

Go with the 10C for sure. Of course getting the mounting right will be the difference between shaving off some of your headlight plastic or not. The 90 degree couplers are just for mocking through the headlight hole. I will get a little more clearance with 3" hard pipe.

Thanks, yeah it’s quiet! Very neighborhood friendly until you get on it. No rasp, no drone, very tame. Should sound even throatier with the twins + high flow cat. Res and muffler are flow through. So pretty much straight pipe. Haven’t hooked up the cutout yet, should make it a bit more rowdy!

Thanks. To do: powdercoat intercooler pipes, install the oil pan+ fuel pump controller, finish installing remote fuel filter, Fill it with fluids and cross my fingers.
Little setback as I had to Redo the IC pipe from pass turbo side. I originally mocked it up with the OEM radiator, but after swapping to a larger aluminum there wasn’t room:facepalm:. So now it snakes under the charge pipe and crosses over. Trying to make as much as I can 1pc welded to eliminate using a ton of couplers.
