You guys can take me off the list. I ended up trading in my truck and returned the kit. If anyone is interested, I’m getting rid of my injectors (23209-70130-09) and boost controller/gauge (SCG-1) Just PM me. Good luck to everyone with kits still! I’ll be following the thread just to see how everything turns out. Excited to hear the results

 

That's a great idea.

I'm not on 33's however.

I'd initially had plans to do a head to head with a local guy who got the Mag-charger but then life happened and he no longer has the truck, so that won't be happening any longer

 

I’m in middle TN, maybe we can work something out. 34’s on stock gear and some weight. It will have to be on low boost to be fair!

 

Bascoma you are going to get your butt kicked lol! Our S/C is tuned waaaaaaay behind what these guys have for the same boost level. Once we start getting some tunes floating around for the SC the boost wars will be on!

 

What is the tune situation looking like? I should be done mid day tomorrow as long as there are no setbacks.

You'll absolutely have it NTL tomorrow morning if not tonight

our kit provides more down low torque but top end is is similar to the SC, so it would be a good run. (assuming base turbos)

If all goes well I'll be moving down the road to TN next year. (not really far from where I'm at though....)

 

You guys have an awesome base to build from with the TVS1900, which has tons of headroom for power, but at the moment its definitely in its infancy with tuning and fueling. Until one of you VF gurus start working on a better tune and address the fueling limitations and start pressing on some smaller pulleys I think the TT kits will be doing the spanking for now. That said, a base TT kit with no fueling upgrade is the closest comparison to start with I suppose.

 

Nice! I don’t blame you one bit. I’m not too far from you, close enough to come pick my kit up! I have a non off road model (04B04). Would be more than glad to help out with install pics and what not. Not my daily driver and can sit a while. Other than my full dual exhaust, it’s a stock truck.

 

You can take me off right now also. Fixing other bugs before going with the TT. Also waiting for installs to iron out a little before plunging.

 

Lucky. I love Tennessee, my family is from there. Used to visit my grandparents in Kingsport all the time and spend my summers there.

I will return to TN one day.

Everyone getting the tune or just the people who had the kit sent to?

 

They are being sent in coordination with people who have received depending on the trucks mods though, some additional tune setup is required

 

Well they are in. Still have some finish work to do to make things how I want them. Drove it around the block a couple times. Everything sounded good and looked good minus a vibration I have in the accelerator. Didn't really get into much boost and I can already tell the thing is going to be a rocket. Waiting on the proper wastegate spring for the passenger side.

 

Glad another ones on the road. Sound clips??
