I hope they don't customize all of it, changing things to the way they think it should be, and then hit you with a huge bill on stuff you did not even need.

I don't know the shop, and am not saying anything negative at all. But I do know shops that do this. So I would recommend having them ask you to approve to changes / part orders / etc before they do.

and no I have not been contacted.

Wouldn't be surprised at this point if I'm getting bent over a barrel for install cost whenever the time comes to pick up the truck

Unfortunately the biggest hurdles as far as sheer labor goes, seems to be that this tech is their sole "turbo guy", their performance tech. But they've got him consistently doing other shit too and he's an instructor for the school they're partnered with. My alumni incidentally. Supposed to be getting a discount for that.

Feels good too. Lots of power, nice and smooth full throttle runs in 2nd gear from 1500 to 5500. Drivability has improved greatly, just ease on the gas to pick up a little boost and off you go, especially in 6th up a hill, what a difference. The noises are still crazy to me, that blow off is pretty cool, and I think the radio will cover it when the shiny wears off.

I have the pedal vibe right around a shift. Pretty sure it’s the downpipe rubbing the steering as I can feel that in the steering wheel at slow speeds, reversing, etc. Taking it to a shop on Friday to have them reshape for me.

I’m staying at 7psi. I think it’ll be nice for daily driving AND having a little fun.

Here are the pids, in vft list order, that seems to make OV happy.
