I ended up putting in the press and made the dent bigger with 1.25" steel round . prior to this I outlined the steering shaft on the downpipe so I could press the round in the same orientation. It now has room to rotate on the turbo just slightly to deal with valve clearance and steering shaft clearance. Ended up working out. The wrap does bridge the dent but I also followed the wrap with safety wire so I could dent that into the gap as well to hold the wrap back. Worked out as well.

Separately i had to make 1in standoffs for the inboard air box mounts to have the airbox clear the turbo on the passenger side. Also worked nicely

Since I will be one of the hooligans with an illegal mod, just a joke, I wanted to bounce an idea off you guys.
What if I were to plum in a blow off valve, set the springs to about 7.5psi, and leave the vacuum port open to atmosphere?
Another question, should I route the discharged air back into the turbo inlets or vent it to atmosphere as well?

I am trying to get my hands on a OV pump/controller but was wondering if the method above would be good for overboost protection.

Let me know what you all think...

Truck won't be ready today either. Yet another hard deadline given with a failure to deliver.

Fun isn't it? I was supposed to have the next batch of 2LM harnesses a month ago.

Lol. I’ll probably have my truck lifted with wheels by the time the TT kit gets to me.

A few of us have had that for over a month. Sadly that doesn't mean anything. As long as it says "shipment ready for ups" it hasn't left his shop. That means a label was created and that's it.

I’ll take it. It’s the most I’ve heard in 5 months. I’m thrilled. I’ll ride this high for another month

    I am working on it.

Yes I know we are a little bit behind, but you will get everything.

It has been a bit more challenging and complicated now that more people want to trade their kit off to someone else, that's happened 4 times now. I get that it's probably me to blame because some of them were expecting to have it by now.

So, I am working on it, and everyone will get their kits as soon as humanly possible.

Just so everyone is aware, the only reason for any of these delays is supply chain problems.
Our first batch of oil pans the CNC company did them wrong. Not a problem now, because we have the correct ones but that sent it back a month.

The fuel pump clips from Toyota? I ordered them in June, I just got them recently.

Even our carbon fiber piping 90 degree bends had some delay because the company that supplied them lied about how many they had ready.

So I get being frustrated waiting. I get just as frustrated. We had part sourcing delays at every turn on this. All from companies that *should* have had hundreds of the parts ready.

We do pretty much have all the parts now, and I have been working on setup and shipping.

Same issue with our WiFlash. Hired a company to develop them, "oh no problem, will be ready in 2-3 months." Well turns out the developer who had all the experience in CAN firmware had no freaking clue.

Thankfully I already have hired a new person and he's knocking it out...but man nothing has gone right in 2020.

    2020 spilling into 2021.

Just because the date changes doesn't mean problems go away. I'm sure everyone here has seen the logistic backup for mailing anything.

And also, we only have 9 kits left to ship. So we are almost there.
