    Let me know how it goes. If well maybe I’ll bring mine over there as well if I chicken out of doing it myself.

    My summary so far is clock the turbo and get a hammer on the dp if needed.

    Pretty sure that oil sensor tap is BSPT on the Toyota side. Just a hunch, as I am not sure the specifics which you lead to.

    Playing along for now. They really are close and explained to me one of the bigger issues they're working around which was the y-pipe connecting the two turbos couldn't reach around the battery properly, requiring the reshaping and welding.

    So they're actually close to being done so I'm giving it the week for now, will see what happens I guess

    Only that it's an Odyssey 34R-790 AGM. It fits perfectly fine in the OEM battery tray, although I do think it's larger than the OEM battery. Maybe it's just big enough that the pipe piece can't clear it properly as a result, idk. Honestly wasn't an issue I'd considered or foreseen.

    I guess that makes sense if its slightly larger. Honestly I'd rather have a shop that wants to cut and weld than bash it with a hammer (which is really a non-issue based on Engine Masters header bashing tests). At least they sound like they really want this thing to be perfect when its returned to you.

    -Clocking turbos to clear shock towers (there is success with clocking, I ended fabricating new mounts for the actuator, nothing too difficult and cutting back the fender)
    -Trimming fuse box to clear driver side turbo (I stood both the air box and fuse box on 1" standoffs. No trimming necessary after that)
    -Intake pipe clearance around oil fill spout (drivers side turbo) (I snapped the filler neck off and it is indeed threaded to receive the stock oil cap afterwards)
    -PCV tube reroute (into catch can, or reroute into intake tube) (Haven't tackled this yet, but I do have a catch can to deal with)
    -Increase size of dent in drivers side downpipe to clear steering shaft (I had to increase the dent. It was really easy, ifff you have a press)
    -Oil sensor tap possibly the wrong fitting, common spot for leakage (can't comment here, because I haven't finished)

    I'll comment above in (). I did a lot of custom work and I'm not yet done, but there are considerations those installing should think about. I have solid engine mounts - may have changed position of the engine leading to a lot the "custom" work. I have dual batteries on the driver's side which def added to custom work. I have C3 bumper with winch = custom work on IC and routing air. you get my point.

    Since we were one of the first kits delivered, there were some missing parts (nothing expensive but identified once the kit was getting assembled). Some of the later kits may be complete.

    - FIPG maker for oil pan sealer;
    - Various FMIC pipes and varying silicone elbows (mostly b/c Meso, Hawg and myself used a different FMIC so all intercooler piping wasn't included which we were told);
    - more heat shielding per Meso's rec's: Adhesive heat reflective sleeves makes wrapping wires easier, Adhesive thermal barrier for various areas, turbo blankets and exhaust wrap;
    - Air box 1/2" rubber shims and longer bolts which elevates air filter box which lessens amount of trimming to fit passenger turbo; - another member mentioned 1" shims to lift the driverside fuse box which helps reduce the amount of cutting to fuse box;
    - HPS 2" offset coupler and clamps on driver turbo outlets to clear oil filler extension (another solution was identified by Meso who noted that the oil filler neck can be twisted off since its glued on. The OEM oil cap then screws directly on the engine block after oil filler extension is removed);
    - the 3/8" coolant hose that runs from the drivers to passenger side turbo was about a foot short in at least one kit;
    - Heavier duty hose clamps to replace clamps used on fuel pump and doubled with hose clamps on preassembled 6" hose to J-bend for added redundancy against leaks;
    - Meso, myself and Hawg purchased 3/4" HPS high temp silicone hose for the turbo oil return line into oil pan which replaced supplied heater hose. Probably overkill but didn't want to deal with potential leaks down the road.
    - 4mm (5/32”) vacuum hose and clamps for the boost taps;
    - small piece of evap hose, 2 couplers and hose clamps since OEM evap hose became too short after shoving it up against the firewall to make room for turbo and DP;
    - Spark plugs: ngk lfr7aix #2309 iridium 0.028 gap >> if 10+psi you need to gap them to below 0.028, but not below 0.025 (please double check with OV regarding recommended gap especially if running increased boost);
    - there was reported leaking issues with the supplied oil pressure sensor fitting that the turbo oil supply lines attach to. The fitting has NPT instead of BSPT. I believe that the OEM oil sensor is BSPT so I bought another fitting (1/8" male BSPT, 1/8" female BSPT, and 1/8" female NPT) which can be found on eBay for $8. I know Meso and Bigetaco ended up using the supplied fitting to make it work so either fitting will probably work with some teflon tape. I bought the extra one to have options since it was $8.
    - as others have said, should purchase oil catch can system with TT kit. Lots of posts on TW about different systems

    Many have noted difficulty fitting the turbos and/or wastegate actuator arm. Clocking the turbos and slightly shifting the exhaust manifold before tightening can provide extra wiggle room. Varying degree of trimming to the shock tower or wheel well was reported but don't know how much or if it could be prevented with some trouble shooting with OV.

    Torque specs:
    exhaust manifold to engine - 27ft/lbs
    Downpipe to turbos - 33ft/lbs
    Downpipe to Y pipe - 33ft/lbs

    Might of been easier to remake or modify the battery mount, but who knows. Hope they don't keep dicking you around.

    It's been there 2 days and the owner called me to discuss the install. He brought up a lot of the same issues already reviewed on the thread. Nothing that they couldn't handle but wanted to know how to proceed. Because I have a different FMIC requiring custom piping I gave them the liberty to fabricate a system according to their recommendations, limiting the amount of silicone couplers and maximizing custom aluminum piping.

    Currently no other projects in the shop so both guys working on the TT kit for the next couple days. Going to stop by tomorrow at the request of the owner so everybody is on the same page and no surprises. Probably going to have them install a shackled ladder bar that's been sitting on my garage floor for a year now. Guessing the extra torque is going to cause some axle wrap.

    Yes you will have pretty good axle wrap. My supercharged taco hops like hell (or falls on its face) unless you launch it perfectly.

    Have you considered the Roadmaster Active Suspension system? It will not only reduce axle wrap and wheel hop but also body roll and greatly improve towing. The price is reasonable and the installation is simple. Check out the link below.

    It will actually work for any Tacoma to 2021. I am not sure about the Pro.

    spot on to what i have done and same issue with some small missing parts, but expected as we were a couple of the first. Haven't created my IC plumbing solution yet but optimistic there. did the same on oil return as well.

    oil pressure tee. i haven't tackled yet but i did just find this on Amazon Amazon.com: EPMAN 1/8'' BSPT Oil Pressure Sensor Tee to 1/8'' NPT Adapter Turbo Supply Feed Line Gauge: Automotive
