Sooooooo....about 3 weeks ago i got a check engine lite. Read the code and it was a P0141 code which says my O2 sensor for bank 1 sensor 2 is bad. Cleared the code several times and it would always come right back. This weekend i swapped out the O2 sensor with a bosch O2 sensor and cleared the code....check engine light went out when i cleared the code and all was well. Two days later the check engine light came back on and i got the same code again!!! Now i am scratching my head wondering WTF??? Anybody got any suggestions??? Hate to take it to the stealership to have them figure it out and pay big bucks for doing so....Thanks

Why the Denso??? The Bosch was a direct replacement and not a universal type......

Toyota's are funny about O2 sensors. This isn't the first time I have seen some one use a Bosch as a replacement and it "fail". The part number you need is 234-4189

I am having the same problem right now...I bought the sensor from a buddy that works at toyota and had my mechanic install it. Light went off for about a day then came right back on. I am dropping it off to him again so he can try to figure it out. It goes in tomorrow, I will post anything he figures out to try and help.

Try removing the positive cable on the battery wait 5 minutes. Then drive it around for 5 minutes. That is how i cleared mine. It never came back.

No, I got a toyota sensor, but it is doing the exact same thing yours is....I have tried a few times to clear it myself but every 5-10 miles afterward it comes right back on. Hopefully he can get to it tomorrow, I am leaving it with him for a few days. I'll post as soon as I get the call.
