Do you remember which relay it was? I'm having the same P0418 and P2445 code in my '15 Tacoma and the pump does not turn on at all. I'm only seeing the 10A fuse labeled AIR PMP HTR, which I assume is for the air intake system.

Bumping this up.. I just got the P2445 on my 13’ went into limp mode. I pulled over checked it with the scan gauge and cleared it, drove home and turn my truck off and got the whistle sound.. I guess I’ll
Wait for the code to pop back up but I can’t make a clear heads or tails of what the actual problem here is.. I have had the unifilter mod done for a long time now, but I still don’t know or understand that the issue is here with this system..

Did you ever figure this out? I am getting the exact same two codes pop up in my truck right now.

thanks! the kit has been on my list for a while. I had mine fixed once under warranty but those days are over. And it sucked to be stranded and needing a tow truck to the dealership.

I had codes 2441 and 2445 pop up after doing some maintenance where I had to remove the air intake manifold... I did a cold start and could feel the SAI pump whirring; Moved on to look at the SAI valve and I noticed the vacuum line dangling. Looks like I forgot to plug it back into the MAF after my maintenance. I cleared the codes and now I'll drive around for a while and see if they ever come back. Will post and update.

(also found out about the pump filter modification and the OEM plastic cover while reading about this system. Will be installing the clamp on filter and cover to the pump when the parts arrive)

Update: reconnecting the vacuum line seems to have fixed it! Happy to have it be a simple one! Hopefully someone else runs into this easy fix as well!

    Bump on this thread,
    I’ve got codes:
P2441; switching valve bank 1 stuck closed
P2443; switching valve bank 2 stuck closed
P2445; pump stuck off bank 1
codes today along with limp mode while at work. I also noticed the SAS pump didn’t run on the cold start this morning.

I’ve put power to the pump directly, as well as the diverter valve connectors that has two little valves that allow air into either bank of the cylinders.
All three will function when connected directly to 12v.
I also checked the fuse inside my main engine box, the one labeled for the SAI pump or whatever. It has continuity with a multimeter.

from what I can see, there is no other fuse or relay on the system. I’m thinking I either have an issue with the ECU or SAIS Control unit sending the signal for everything to operate, or possibly a wiring issue in the harness side.
Less likely on the harness, is all my codes are for mechanical malfunctions.

Anyone know exactly where the relay for the system is? If there is one?

I’m thinking about going ahead and replacing the diverter valves, as it seems to be the thing that fails most often along with the pump. Just don’t want to throw parts and money. These parts are all pretty expensive for what they are. lol.

I have another pump that I think is good, I plan on testing with this upcoming week.

Anyone know how often the control unit for the system might go bad?
Seems unlikely and Rarely the issue, if ever, but it’s a possibility I am considering.

Pretty uncommon for the Air Injection Driver to go bad, have you verified Power on Connector A6 Pin 1 (White) and Connector A7 Pin 5 (Blue/White) and Ground on Pin 1 (White/Black) at the Air Injection Driver as well as Ground on Pin 4 (White/Black) at the Air Pump?

Haven’t gotten to testing the harness yet. I’ll try to do those Monday.
