Paint/Body shop San Diego Area?

Can anyone recommend a good paint and body shop in San Diego? Want to get my chrome rear bumper end caps and chrome grille ring color matched to my truck. I’ve gotten quotes from a few different places and the prices are all over the board. I know cheapest isn’t always the best... at the same time highest price doesn’t always mean highest quality. I’m willing to remove the parts for them to paint. Thanks for your help!

 

I had a great experience at Autobody Excellence over in Poway. Dunno what the cost will be, but it can't hurt to give them a call.

 

Amatos in Sorrento Valley does a great job. It won't be the cheapest quote though...

I've worked at both Amato's and Autobody Excellence and think between the two Amato's is the better choice but if I had to choose, it would be at my other auto body shop; AJ USA next to Green Flash in Mira Mesa/Sorrento Valley.

 

Thanks for the input gang! I’ll check them out. I checked at one of the dealership shops when I was waiting around for one of my services and they were almost triple of the other two shops I checked! One independent shop quoted me 240 for just the rear bumper ends... another was a little over 400... dealer was high 600. I’ll stop and see where these guys fall. Again, thanks!
