Paint chip question

    hey guys not sure what forum to put this in but was hoping someone can help me out I have had my Tacoma for about 3 months brand new still and a have gotten a rock chip right on the side of the hood. The chip has taken all of the paint of and is down to the primer I was wondering if anyone would recommend using the dr paint chip kit to repair it or to DIY it and go the route of wet sanding and waxing and fixing that way. Just curious to see if anyone has seen better results from one or the other.
