Paint Chip Repair

What’s the best product to purchase to repair a paint chip. Someone banged my door in the mall parking lot. Chip is smaller than a pencil eraser. TIA

 

Nothing will repair a paint chip to perfection without a complete repaint of that panel.

You can buy a paint pen from Toyota to do touch up but depending on the color of your truck it may still be noticable.

White is the worlds greatest color for fixing small spots. Worst colors in the world are black, silver, and red.

 

Dr. Color chip is probably the best consumer chip repair, next level up is shelling for a professional job.

I have used DR. Color chip and it works rally well, one thing I learned is if you really want to properly touch up a area and get it to look the best you can you will need to apply the paint first, topcoat with clear, let cure for 30 days or use heat to dry, wet sand, compound and polish the touch up.
