Paint gone to hell!

    I also own a 2010 Subaru Outback that I bought bran new and have worried about the first scratch ,dent since I got it. I wanted a used truck thinking that I wouldn't stress about door dings and scratches if it came with a few but that obviously backfired.

    I have a black '11 that I off road pretty often. What I did was, after removing the factory mud flaps, I had a 10in piece of 3m scotch guard ran the entire length of the truck along the bottom panels.

    It cost me about $300, but its much cheaper than a paint job.

    I do have to say, its working exactly as I anticipated... If only I could say the same for the pin striping from trees.

    Thats a good idea, too late for me. That 3m shit is so overpriced.
