Paint grill surround or no?

So I'm tossing up the idea of painting my grill surround black to match my trim. here is what it looks like now:

If you did your bumper along with it it would look good

 

Your truck is nearly identical to mine, same color, (almost) same bull bar, same bug shield. I painted mine and like it much better black. Then I lost a fight with a phone pole, and bought a black surround off ebay. Still liking it.

I scuffed mine with 400, used denatured alcohol to make sure all the wax was off, and rattle canned it black.

 

Color match red maybe, too much black up there doesnt look to great IMO

 

Red devil horns coming soon, that should break up the black pretty good.

 

yeah i say go red, the black is great in all but too much makes the eyes squint but either way, the black would look kewl, votes' on red grill

I was about to say the same thing. I like Carone's white grill

 

that grill is sick! but idk if im feeling the white, but idk im just brainstorming aha

 

My vote has to go to color matched, also.

 

I think I've decided I want to color match the grill surround and black the lower chrome bumper. I'm in the process of ordering the red 3L5 in a rattle can, already got some OEM trim paint I used on my lower bumper and fender flares.
