    This: [IMG] $10

    Your local Sunday paper $1.25

And some fine grit sandpaper $3

And you should end up with something like this.

Definitely ditch the chrome... I like red bumper with black grille personally. I used plasti dip on my surround... yeah people hate on it but fuck it do what you want to do. I like the flat black color and it's rubberized so it won't chip like paint. Everyone else says it'll peel off but mine has been solid for about 6 months. I'm gonna use it on my bumpers eventually too. Worst case if you don't like it you can peel it off with no consequences.

I'm painting mine because a $17 can of OEM Radiant Red spray paint beat $100+ grill surround.

Color match on the first gens makes them look great imo, but it's your truck...will look good black too.

Wait, wait, wait, you can get OEM colors in a spray paint?!
    I had no idea...

Is this something you need to go to the dealer for?

    (sorry for the thread jack)

OP, my vote is color matched surround and black bumper.
    I think that'd look great....

i like the looks of a colored matched grill and bumper.... but i think i'd rather have a chrome bumper and grill then a colored matched one... i'd leave it chrome.

    just my 2 cents....

I love it, I think it looks really good. I removed the whole grill and the surround from my truck, it took forever to tape everything off, sanded, and painted.
