This. It is a manufacturing defect.

    And we love Ducati's.

try taking out to a different Toyota dealership. as for my 2016 Tacoma DCLB super white. it started on the inside of my fenders like yours. both sides. talked to my service advisor at Toyota to bring it in and have a body shop guy take a look at it. the body shop guy did the tape test and would put the tape in areas on the tuck and pull the tape. every metal body panel on my truck peeled. my advisor sent in a claim to corporate and the following day my advisor called me saying that the claim has been approved. so i brought the truck in and for they agreed to paint all the metal panels on the truck. 2 weeks went by and I get a call from my service advisor saying my truck is done. when i go to pick up my truck i also noticed that they changed out a buck of the seals and weather strips on my truck. truck looked like a brand new truck.

My 2001 tundra was a reddish gray silver with a thick clear coat. Truck was outside 24/7 all its life. Only after 19 years the clear coat on the roof began peeling. The dealers here never mentioned silver had an issue, even our silver 2012 prius paint is still perfect. They always told me white was the worst for paint problems with blue having some.

Interesting. I was looking at getting a white 2016, maybe I'll reconsider color... I've had an 02 lexus for years and just barely seeing clear coat issues, I'm disappointed to hear toyotas this new are having paint defects :(

I think you can thank the epa for these paint issues.

actually this is due to improper prep. Yes there are no more solvents but you don’t see these issues on other colors brands.

    Very common for white owners.
