So NASCAR got rained out yesterday, which meant I had a little extra free time on Sunday. So i decided to clean the look up behind my grille by lightly dusting everything with high temp black spray paint. Then after that I took my TRD skid plate, painted it black and added on the TRD logo. The paint could have came out a little better but not too worried cause the next time I hit the trails, there will probably be a few nice scratches to go with it.

Thanks. I just lightly painted behinde the upper grille, just enough to take the shine away.

Looks good! Skid plate looks a lot nicer black. Grill looks cleaner with the radiator painted.

looks good:thumbsup: I really like the red/black combo

next time you have the paint out maybe mist the aluminum pieces that you see through the lower grille. It was bugging me so I ended up doing mine down there a while back

Glad to see that skid plate. I never liked the silver look when everything else under there is black. I too painted mine but I could not get the enamel to stick very well. It would chip quite easily. I finally just dropped it off to get it sand blasted and powdercoated black. On the red the black is a must and the silver had to go. Looks sweet man well done.
