I am toying the idea of color matching some vent visors to my truck. Has anyone done this? I would love to see your pictures and comments about it. I have a white double cab so if someone has a pic of this done, it would help me decide.

    Cheers,

Are they in-channel vents or stick on?

I am open to whatever kind. It sounds like the EGR (in-channel) vent visors are the way to go from all of the searching I have done.

If you are going in channel ( what I recommend) and you have them painted the black window rubber will break up the all white look you are going for. If you want painted visors your only option in my opinion is to do stick ons.

A painted visor would cut down on your visibility, with the tinted ones you can see through them. It would essentially make your "A" pillar about 6" thick, resulting in a huge blind spot.

Great point. I think a black visor looks really good especially on a tinted window! It may look pretty good, but the marginal improvement may not be worth it.

X2. I have the EGR in-channel visors and and they look great with my tinted windows.
