    So I painted them Semi gloss black. I put about 5 layers on each. I kinda messed one up but cant tell. Also, I kinda like the look of the silver yota logo

    Question is, how long until they scrape up?

    very nice! i plan on doing the same to mine very soon, ive seen some pics of them without the center caps they look a bit more agressive imo

    Looks good, ditch the mud flaps and blackwell the tires and I think it would look even better :thumbsup:

    nice... keep the Toyota logo silver for a little contrast...

    I did mine a while ago, and they are through one and a half NorthEast winters, and they are holding up great so far...

    Thanks guys! I plan on getting some 33" duratracs next month. And a 2.5" lift! Might go with 265 75 16? What you guys think? Anyone got pics with a 2.5" lift and 265 75 16's????

    And your right. I'm gonna ditch the mudd flaps!

    I did this in the past to an El Camino I used to own. They hold up well with the high-temp engine paint (you know applying the brakes get's the rims very hot!). Just take it easy when washing your wheels and only use sponges as needed.
