I really like the wheels on my TRD Sport overall, but I wanted them black. So, after doing some reading here I picked up some primer and wheel coating and got to work this morning. First coat of primer is drying on the back wheels now, here's a look at the front wheels back on the truck. I sanded with 600 grit, washed, rubbed down with alcohol, then two coats of primer and three coats of wheel coating. I have some black FJ TRD center caps on the way to complete the look, can't wait!

The back wheels got a little bunged up. Right after I sprayed the first coat of color a tiny breeze kicked up and knocked one card on each wheel onto the paint. It's not too bad, but you can see a few edges. I'll wait a few days, then pop those wheels off again, sand them down a bit, and touch up the paint. Overall I'm happy with the results, though.
