i had a few questions along with painting rims. Once painted, putting the wheels back on has anyone had any problems getting them on without chipping the paint? i know its a pain in the ass to get the tire back on but im woundering since its gonna be painted will the bolts that hold the tire on scratch or chip the newly painted rim? or will you not be able to tell.

A lot of people don't worry about taking the tires off unless they are getting the wheels powdercoated. Just stick some notecards between the rim and tire all the way around and you're in good shape. If the paint chips while you are putting it back on hopefully it won't be too much that you can't touch up
