I didnt like the factory TRED mounts and how it only allowed to hold 2 treds and i didnt like the lock setup.
so i went and made my own.
started with some plate steel and some stainless bolts
    IMG_9455.jpg

    welded them up
    IMG_9460.jpg

to make it lock easy, i used a bolt lock which uses your factory key, i cut up the shaft and welded it the end of a cut stainless bolt.
    looks like this (bottom left)
    IMG_9462.jpg

    and locked
    IMG_9463.jpg

    and all done :D

Why do you have my Camburg UCA's? :D
What did you use to paint them black? I wish I had thought of that, might have to do that when I get SPC's.
Where have I been though, you said you weren't planning on making a build thread, then you make one, BACK IN MAY! o_O
I like the tailgate support and locking hubs too

Oh, maybe I missed it. Wow, they truly look black though lol Well at least they went to a good home. Your fuse plate is going to be put to good use soon too, have my CaliRaised SP pods and 2x Nordic N10's sitting waiting for me to get a fuse box and wire everything up. Any suggestions on diy fuse boxes besides blue sea? Probably going to do a custom overhead switch panel.

you mean something like this? :D i just started this on sunday. As for a fuse setup, i am a fan of the bussman one that i use. 5 relays all in one box.

first take it out of the truck and protect it some.
    IMG_9526.jpg

    then cut a nice hole
    IMG_9527.jpg

    and installed.

Gotcha, so it wasn’t an issue with the product so much as the business practice? I’m just curious because I have a Pelfrey rear bumper and was planning on adding a seingout. Just wanted to see if you have any structural issues.

i did add some extra structure to the brackets as you know they are only side mounting, i added brackets to bolt to the bottom of the frame also.
i also added in some extra receiver tubing for a bike rack.
