i have a 04 tacoma v6. problem is the parking brake lite will not go out. about 3 years ago it would blink on and off all the time. then it started to say on all the time. checked the swicth and it is good.(it is nc closed) the computer has no codes in it. is it possible the lite in the dash is for some other problem that toyota is not telling me about. my shop manual shows it is for parking brake only. any info would be helpful.

If your brake fluid is low, you have one of two problems: a leak, or it's time for new brake pads and or shoes. Get the problem fixed ASAP or you will have bigger problems than a pesky light.
If your fluid is right, focus on the parking brake switch. It may be bad.

I forgot to add... Check the vac line from the brake booster. If there is fluid, you need to replace the booster and master cylinder. Brake fluid leaking from the master into the booster will kill the booster.
