Does anyone know the part number for the oem tailgate lock kit? I don’t want the pop and lock one. Prefer factory.

I don't think a Toyota OEM kit was offered.
It's common dealers offer, but it's not OEM.

For 2020, there appears to be a new factory accessory/option that works with the Toyota remote. I believe the OP is looking for this #.

    Would my 2020 be prewired?

No, you have to run a long wire to the back.

I havent seen a 2020 yet, but with Tundras it's only the platinums that have it so far.

I think you will end up finding the OEM tailgate lock is produced by Pop & Lock

This is what I was thinking, dealers have been adding/using them for years, add to that, they seem to last, not like some aftermarket items.

+1. Easy and better pricing. It's been 100% reliable. Probably get the tailgate lock + opener for the same price or less than the OEM one. Probably the same actuators or something.

I’m assuming the “L” and “S” are to distinguish between long and short beds. I could be wrong though.

    See attached

Installed on my 2020 TRD OR OEM, quiet and works perfect. Gotta run it from passenger front to tailgate along the frame, zip tied to a bundle of wires already there. Easy

Just installed one of these Friday afternoon on my 2017 TRD sport access cab long bed. Pretty easy and works great.
