    If you suspect an alarm system problem, I would head straight to the Toyota dealer. Removal of alarm systems is a common task for them. They guys who do used car reconditioning are familiar with the various brands/models, and can almost certainly tell, at a glance, if something has been done poorly, and they know how to repair it correctly.
