I'm happy to announce that the Achievement Patches are here are ready to go. Thank you all for the input on these.

Achievement Patches may be purchase here.

The "Never Done" Achievement Patch :)

    never-finished-1.jpg

So who remembers boy scout merit badges? Gaining a patch for a special achievement was a big deal. So why can't we have something like that for wheeling?

I've decided to make a line of "Achievement" Patches. These can be handed out on the trail to guys that deserve them, or you can honor yourself with one after you've completed one of the below Achievements.

All patches will be 2" in diameter, fully embroidered, and velcro backed. Perfect for you headliner.

The list below was put together from my ideas and those of the members listed. Of course, if a member suggests a patch that I end up making, they get theirs free of charge. We're starting out with 20, but that doesn't mean there can't be more. So keep the ideas coming.

We'll keep the model designations, sayings, and fun stuff for another time. If you have ideas for standalone patches list those as well.

Build thread in sig... 4-link long travel
-busted driveshaft (mangled or candy caned driveshaft)
-high speed (not sure on the design)
-more of a gag-patch to give someone at a wheeling meet, but maybe a patch for the guy that always talks a big game, and then sticks to the easy trails.
    -mechanics patch (skull and cross-wrenches?)

Definitely need the driveshaft patch. How about an actual candy cane for the image?
High speed, as in long travel?
Have to put some thought into the gag patch. Good idea, just need an image.
Mechanics patch for the guy that steps up and actually fixes shit. I like it.

The submarine patch could be used for both the guy with a snorkel, or for @357sig when he drowns his next vehicle.

dig the candycane. not necessarily a long travel patch. more of a patch for the folks who have a habit of taking things a little quicker then they should. be it crawling way too fast, or something along the lines of that off camber sand turn on the PINS trip
maybe the poop emoji with off road wheels. could be a general "shit-talker" patch.

also, definitely need a recovery patch, for people who make recoveries that are out of the ordinary (in a good way) for any reason. self recovery or assisting someone else. gotta be beyond the general pulling someone out of a mud hole kind of deal. for this one, I think folks should have to provide you with evidence of deserving the patch before they can purchase it. could be a simple as putting a shackle on the patch.

Good one! I've never done that.:pout:

So maybe it needs to be a skinny pedal patch?

Poop emoji works, but may not get the message across.

I like the recovery patch idea. Anyone will be able to buy these, but if a club wants to buy the set they can hand them out throughout the year as awards. I do like the idea of having someone prove they deserve the patch though.
