Great work Nathan. I'm buying a few of these for some buddies when you release them. I think along the lines of them being earned, it would also makes sense that you can't purchase these patches for yourself- so the achievement is actually vetted by a trial buddy. There's really no way to enforce that, I know, but just saying. I'm buying a bunch, but none for me.

just got a simple lift on her
i was thinking something along those lines too......
or for some of them a picture?
    or the honor system...

also, i was also a little curious how this part would work, would the patch be held to the vehicle, or the person. like if i flopped my old truck on its lid, do i get that patch in the new truck, ect?

I agree and disagree. Personally I will carry a batch of these around with me on wheeling trips and award them to those deserving of them.

There's no reason you can't award yourself though. I mean, if you've twisted your driveshaft in two twice this year, you're probably entitled to the "Candy Cane". :D

    Ahh, true true

    PERFECT!!

Maybe since you're going with a cartoonish theme on some of the patches you can do like cartoon-ish arrows. Either way, they look great.

Well, it'll be a pretty penny to order 100 of each of the 20 designs, so I'm looking into ways to do that. One possibility is that I'll order five of the designs at a time and leave a little time inbetween new orders. Gotta keep something in the ol' checking account. :D

The rigidity of the images will be toned down once they're turned into a patch.

I did, and the order has been placed. The order should ship out the 2nd week of January.

Still waiting on the other invoice to be filled though.

Oh, I know. I'm not trying to take the fun out of it- just my own idea. I'd like to have a few on hand for every wheeling trip too- there's always "that guy". Haha!

Have you also considered a patch for the group's shutterbug/documenter? There always seems to be at least one in the group that takes all the pictures/video and everyone can't wait to see them posted... Maybe a small camera?

Could certainly run a group buy. I prefer the set price group buys though. Trying to change payments after we hit a milestone is a right pain in the ass.

What I can do is have the sample patches made up for each achievement so everyone can see exactly what they'll look like. Then open the group buy. There will be a discount on individual purchases and a larger discount when you buy a full set.

The full order would of course be placed at the close of the group buy and then we'd have the wait while the patches are made.

Most parking spots occupied by one vehicle. This guy covered five.
