    Are floor mats a mod?
Tires should be your 1st concern. If they are stock, you run the risk of smashing them, which will wreck the sidewall. Truck should be fine as long as you don't hit any big bumps.
Suggestion.... It's only 20 miles, make 2 trips with 1/2 the load. No worries that way.

You'll be fine, there's 20 80lbs bags in here, went about 16 miles on base reg cab non tsb leafs, was off the bump stops but took it slower then normal and drove careful.

I hauled about half that load on the interstate for 60 miles going 82mph in a Prerunner V6. No problem. Would have hated to have made two trips to equal the weight you're considering. If you need to haul that kind of load very frequently, I'd seriously consider a half ton truck or a trailer.

I hauled about 1400+ pounds of old tile floor. Truck barely sagged and although you definetly knew the tile was there, I had no issues. Drove about 10-15 miles to the dump. The next week, hauled another 800 pounds. I would do it again if needed. Stock everything.

I loaded my truck up with about 1200 pounds and 4 adults and drove at 80 mph on the interstate for about 150 miles. I hit the bump stops once over a bridge expansion joint but other than that there were no issues. All of this was in a stock 2011 DCSB Off-Road. Personally I think people worry too much.

Stopping is what you need to be careful about. That and off camber corners. Drive slow and give yourself a huge stopping margin.

Or, as already mentioned, get smart and take two trips.

I'd like to personally meet all the people, not in this thread alone, that have had 1k plus in the bed with barely any sag and shake their hands. Even with the tsb leaves at 1k I was sagging pretty hard. As in bump stomps hard.

What size trires are those OZ? I know you have posted this pic many times, but my Dakars needed the aal to look that after a trip with roughly the same weight. Speaking of weight I'm going to have to ask the weight again too.

Right now I have dakars with an aal. A leer mid rise with reinforced ceiling, at least 10gals of fuel, 120lbs of tools, 60lbs spare parts and probably another 60lbs of miscellaneous items. I seem to have just a little more, maybe 1.5", tire clearance in the back than you. I wheel hard by some peoples standard too. I was carrying that much weight at moab this year for the entire taco get together.

I hauled a level bed of dirt in my truck, whatever that might weigh. It was riding pretty low in the back and I don't think I'll try that again. As another suggested, two trips and play it safe.

I had a set of 33's with wheels in my bed a few days ago and could definitely tell they were back there. I love my truck with a deep, biased passion, but it's no work horse. :turtleride:

I've had 1200 lbs in my bed and aside from weight affecting braking and accelerating, it was pretty unnoticeable. I believe it only dropped my ass end 1.25"

Never have had to greatly exceed payload limit. I have greatly exceeded towing capacity. Once. I Will Never Do That Again. Anytime a ranching story involves a semi truck, a bridge, the DOT, and two Sherriff's Deputies, you can bet things didn't go as planned.
